[-] Installing SnippetMaster on webhost One.com
« on: January 06, 2011, 07:33:26 AM »

Ok, I tried to install SnippetMaster on my webhost One.com but I couldn't do it Sad

The autoinstaller didn't work because of the ftp function isn't included. (isn't it possible to set some vars in the autoinstaller code with my ftp username/password ?)

When I tried to manually install with with IonCube I just got a blank page after I uploaded it, no error message or anything.

When I downloaded the zend.php file to try it, it said hello world, so then I uploaded the zend ver but then I got the message that Zend Optimizer wasn't installed.

Any help would be apriziated Smile

I think you need to move to a better hosting provider that supports either Ioncube Loaders or Zend Optimizer.

Both of those are considered "industry standard" software for any web hosting server.  If your host does not support either of them, then it means they either don't know what they are doing, or they don't care about their customers.

There is no other explaination.  Sad

(They might tell you it is for "security" or "technical" reasons, but the truth is that Zend Optimizer is created by the same people who make the PHP software itself!  So there is no reason to allow PHP to run on your server, but not "trust" or "allow" the other PHP components like Zend Optimizer to run, too...  Not to mention that many thousands of hosting servers run *both* software at the same time with no technical or security problems at all...)
