Installation Trouble - Step 2, db.inc.php Error

For some reason, I am having trouble getting Snippetmaster installed.  I have worked on the installation for several hours, however, I keep getting a db.inc.php error on step 2.  I know that I am typing the correct directory path and the permissions have been set correctly.  However, I keep getting the following error message:

I was not able to open the database folder specified in your db.inc.php file:
Either the folder does not exist or it does not have enough read permissions.
You should fix this problem and then go through the installation wizard again.
Instructions To Restart The Installation Wizard:
1. Open your db.inc.php file and delete the contents.
2. Reload this page (click refresh in your browser) and the program will automatically detect that it needs to be reinstalled.

Any thoughts?  Please assist asap.  Thank you.

I think the easiest thing to do here is request a free installation, and then I'll take a look and try to get it fixed for you.

i solved the db.inc.php Error at installation wizzard - step 2:
The db.inc.php file was not found. Are you sure it exists? To solve this problem, you must create an empty file called to db.inc.php, upload it to your /snippetmaster/ folder, and then make sure it has write permissions.

If the testfile "file-read-write-test.php" in the folder snippetmaster/includes/diag/ works succesful, then it can be a cookie-problem.

Your browser musst accept cookies. Than it works.
