[-] Cannot Save files
« on: November 17, 2007, 05:33:54 AM »

Just the product I've been looking for... so really hope I can get the Lite to work so I can purchase the Pro.

The manual installation appears ok. I can see all the folders / files etc. But once I open a sample file to edit I can't see the images or save the file. It returns an internal server error.

I have checked the path using
Code:
<?php echo "This file is located at: "dirname(__FILE__); ?>
And Safe Mode is off on my server.

What I have noticed is that the path to the current file I'm editing has a comd inserted after the com. Don't know if thats correct?

Appreciate any help.

This might be a configuration error.  Can you check that the "Starting URL" for the User Profile is correct?

- Log into snippetmaster as an admin user.
- Click the "admin" link.
- Choose the "Users" tab.
- Choose the 'modify" link for the user.
- Verify the Starting Path and Starting URl are correct

Let me know.  Smile

I've checked all that. It appears correct.

I'll send you the details by email for you to take a look.

Thanks

Just to let everyone know, the problem is with my web server provider. They bypassed their security restrictions by addiing this file.
Code:
<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterRemove XXXXXX
SecFilterRemove XXXXXX
SecFilterRemove XXXXXX
</IfModule>
Which fixed the file "save problem"

I still have a problem with displaying of images in the wysiwyg editor. For some reason a "d" appears after the .com of my path. Yet another web server config problem. Which I'm still waiting for them to sort out.

Today I loaded and installed snippetmaster onto another clients webserver (different provider). No problems. Think I'll be taking Henri's advice and changings providers.

Thanks Henri for your time and patience. Laughing

Hi Webmam,

I hope your hosting provider is able to fix the problem for you... but just in case they don't, then I can recommend my own company as an alternative provider.  Since I'm the owner, I am happy to give a special offer to anyone from these forums here:
