Dear Support,

I'm trying to setup SnippetMaster Lite to be accessible via SSL. However, even when I go to the log-in page via HTTPS, the program quickly reverts to an unsecure URL.

I have specified the program URL with an "HTTPS" in the Admin > General Settings section, and tried "Enabling Overwrite". However, internal links within SnippetMaster continue to point to http://www....

Is there any way of configuring the program so that an SSL connection will be maintained?

Best Regards,

Marc

P.S. Thank you for making such an excellent piece of software available for free.

Hmm.. snippetmaster should work with HTTPS, I think.  Whatever protocol you are using to access the initial starting page is what should be used for the rest of the session..

Can you send me a link to your snippetmaster installation and a un/pw and I will login and try to see what might be the problem?

Thanks!

I've got the same problem, when you login and want to edit a page, it'll stay in the https, but whenever you do one of the section changes in the top right, it comes up http (non secure).

I even checked the properties on the upload and help pages and those come up non secure.

Hello,

At the moment, the links at the top are hard-coded and can't be changed to use with https.   This is something I'll take a look at fixing in the next release.

Any idea when the next version might be coming out?

Not very fast.  Sad  I have been getting swamped with other work, and have had to put off development of the new version for a bit.  I am planning to resume development within a few weeks hopefully.

Sorry for the delay.

Remove files is already a feature that was added in the last version.  (You just have to enable it for each user that needs it.)

SSL and ability to create new files are on the todo list for the next version.  Smile
