Hiyo! Just tried to install 2.2.3 over 2.2.2 based on the security recommendation, and now I can't access SnippetMaster on the site and instead am seeing:
Site error: the file /home/awcm01/public_html/editor/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
Ioncube Loader is not installed
Who did what with the where now? A little help!
I tried the autoinstaller and the manual install. I even tried to re-upload the old Snippetmaster files (which I backed up prior to the upgrade) but then I get a php error on index.php. I have 4 other client sites whom I was going to upgrade Snippetmaster but am now waiting until I can figure this out. Hopefully the clients who's site I broke won't notice for a while.
Thanks!!

Hello,
Yes, due to security reasons I no longer am offering a Zend-encoded version of Snippetmaster. (That is likely what you were using.)
The error on the page you are seeing should have some information about how to proceed.. including a link to the diagnostic utility you can use, and instructions to ask your web hosting provider for help..
Here is a bit more info:
http://www.snippetmaster.com/requirements/loaders.php
Let me know if I can assist with anything.

Nuts. Is there any way I can revert back to version 2.2.2 so I can get it working again? I hope I didn't lose all my logins and settings.
It may be a while before my admins can get the ionCube thing installed server-wide on our system.
Thanks.

Hello,
I can send you the old version 2.2.2 Zend .zip file... but to be honest... I don't recommend using it as there is a security exploit in it that can possibly allow your website to be compromised. (It would depend on your server configuration, though. Most servers are not vulnerable.. but I would hate for you to re-install the old version and then have your account hacked..)
Any decent administrator or hosting provider should be able to get ioncube installed and operational in seconds. (I actually own a hosting company with 300 servers, and all have ioncube installed, so I'm intimately familiar with the process...)
Let me know... if you want the old version, please send an email to .
