The latest MS update for Internet Explorer includes a patch to prevent ActiveX controls running without input from the user. It seems that where this update has been applied, the current Pro version of Snippetmaster does not work. I assume this will affect the current Lite version, too. Where people use the Windows auto-updater they may not be aware of the crippling of their browser.

The good news is that the new version does work OK in "updated" IE6 and IE7 Beta2.

The post above is the last "step" that I need to finish before I can release the new version. This will (hopefully) prevent a flood of "it won't install!" problems for the new version...
I'm looking for testers.. and once that's done... the new version will be out the door!
