Had a clean 100% install of 2.0.16 with SAFE MODE ON.
Did just a few test, but looks like everything is working!

Excellent!  You had me worried for a second when I saw this thread title... I thought maybe it wasn't working with safe mode.   Mad  (Hope you don't mind.. I changed the title a bit.)
