Hi can anybody offer any advise? when i go to the snippetmaster directory - http://www.haworthscouts.escouts.net/snippetmaster i get this:
Warning: usetemplate(/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/templates/login.html): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/haworth/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/includes/shared.lib.php on line 135
Warning: usetemplate(/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/templates/login.html): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/haworth/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/includes/shared.lib.php on line 135
Warning: usetemplate(): Failed opening '/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/templates/login.html' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/haworth/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster/includes/shared.lib.php on line 135
Also when i open it in firefox it says something about removing the links and i get sent an email about the error and that i must put the link back. - all i have changed is the values in the instucted file. This only happens in firefox though and not IE.

For some reason, the script isn't finding the right "path" to your snippetmaster installation.
Is it possible you can give me an FTP un/pw to your SnippetMaster testing folder? I'll log in and take a look to see what might be the problem.
Thanks!

Oh.. wait a second!
This is the old version of SnippetMaster. I thought you were a beta tester and having this problem.. I just noticed this thread isn't in the beta testing forum for the new version.
OK.. no problem. The solution to your problem is to use the following values in your config.inc.php file:
$PATH = "/home/haworth/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html/snippetmaster";
$ROOT = "/home/haworth/domains/haworthscouts.escouts.net/public_html";
This should fix your problem.
(I think you just have the wrong path's specified in this file.)
Let me know how that goes. If you're interested in testing our the new version of Snippetmatser (beta test), feel free to check out this thread here:

Cheers!

There is a simple way to find the path to a directory when the host company does not provide the information.
Copy this code into notepad and save it as path.php
<?php
echo "This file is located at: ". dirname(__FILE__);
?>
Then ftp it to the snippetmaster directory and call it in your browser ( http://www.myname.com/snippetmaster/path.php )
As for running SnippetMaster once installed, http://www.myname.com/snippetmaster will be the address to go for.

It is also worth noting that the new version of SnippetMaster is "dynamic" and does not require you to enter in a path for any configuration.
If you're interested to try it out, it is now in beta testing and open to anyone who wants to help test:
http://www.snippetmaster.com/forums/index.php/topic,705.0.html
It also works with firefox and even the mac operating system... and allows unlimited users and unlimited snippets per page.

Oké, thanks for your advice.
The "path php trick" did work, but it didn't solve the problem.
I did contact the maker of the program/script and he is looking in it.
EDIT:
The problem is solved!
I had to contact my provider and asked them to do a 755 chmod on my webroot.
Appearantly they had not done so by setting up the account.
All is working fine now.
