I am receiving this message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
What do I do?

If the software was working previously, then you should ask your hosting provider to tell you what they changed.
Or, since this is a server error you can ask your hosting provider to look in the web server error log file, and tell you what is causing the error. They should have a log file of this, and every error creates an entry into the log showing details of the error cause. If they won't give you the error details, then you should find a better hosting company. (Let me know if you want a good recommendation.)
Other than that... try re-installing and see if the problem goes away.
Let me know how things go.

"Hello,
Thank you for contacting Support.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. There seems to be a coding issue. Since the issue is with the coding, there will be no error logs filed. And we cannot tell how and what might have caused the issue, because there will be no traces of changes made to the coding of the website with us.
Please contact the vendor of the application or any webmaster who can resolve your issue."
Is what they said but I haven't changed the coding. In fact, now, I'm just getting a blank screen without an internal server error... I guess I need to reinstall? Or find a new server? lol

That's pretty funny. The fact is that I actually am the owner of a hosting company, so I know how things like this work. They are absolutely incorrect and misleading. Their server *does* have an error log that records every error generated by the web server software, and the reason for the error.
So... the people you are paying are simply refusing and unwilling to help you, their customer.
Unfortunately, many large hosting providers are like this, because it costs them more to actually help you than to tell you to find your own solution.
Ok... so here's what you can do:
1. Find a different hosting provider. Of course, I recommend my own company. If you'd like some information about that, please send an email to and I'll send you our info. We're not expensive, and our support and service is excellent. A Snippetmaster license is included free (PRO rebrandable version) with all our hosting plans. There is no downtime to switch hosts, and my technical support staff will do everything for you.
2. Request a free installation here:

Then, I'll do my best to get it working on your existing hosting provider...
Cheers!

You know, I did think that sounded a bit fishy. :/ Unfortunately, it isn't my website. I built a little webpage for a local church but I will make the recommendation to them that they switch providers when they can and will give them your link as an option. Thank you
For now, so they can go back to editing, I think I will go for option #2.

Sounds good. Let me know. The hosting company I recommend gives a 50% discount for non-profit organizations who need good web hosting...

I sent in a request for an install about two weeks ago I think and I haven't heard back. Did I input some information wrong?

Hello,
I am not seeing any installation requests in my inbox. Can you resubmit the request and I'll take care of it right away?
Thanks!

Hello,
I just tried the installation for you, but there is a problem getting the "Ioncube Loaders" to work properly on your web server. My email to you explains that you need to contact your hosting provider to get them to fix this for you, and it should only take them a few seconds to do...
Let me know how things go.
Cheers!

OK! I can log in! YAY.
But now I have another problem. lol
I see all the folders I have the snippetmaster code in but the moment I move to another folder (or try to open the main index) I get this:
Your session has expired...
For security purposes, user sessions expire after approximately 25 minutes of inactivity.
Please log back in by clicking here. (You will be automatically logged back in if you previously chose to remember your login details.)
I found this issue on the forum but as far as I can tell my cgi-bin/tmp folder is there and it is creating sessions?
NM I contact iPage and they were able to fix it for me. Thanks for your help. We're back up and running.
