German special characters are changed by TinyMCE

I have a few .html-pages to be edited by Snippetmaster, they are all coded UTF-8. When open in TinyMCE all special characters like ü or & are changed into things like Strömen and Körper. When saving right now, the mess takes effect on website to, so all spezial characters have changed. Only way is to change all charcters manually the first time in TinyMCE. But whys that? Thanks for reply.

I think this is because of the encoding type used by the editor.

What you should do is look in the header file for the Snippetmaster templates and then change it so that it uses the same header encoding type as your website files.

(Change the "charset" in the header file for the snippetmaster template.)
