License Key Not Valid

Seems this is a very common issue.  How do I fix this. I need to get this working today.

"The license key you entered is either not valid or a connection to the licensing server was not possible."

I just got this same error but was able to follow your manual instructions here on the forum and it worked fine. Thanks for posting it earlier!
