[-] PHP error and WYSIWYG won't load ::: please help :::
« on: August 16, 2008, 05:15:26 PM »

Hi
I recentrly install snippetmaster. It seems great however I'm receiving the following error:

Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/apache/htdocs) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/:/usr/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/a4633034/public_html/snippetmaster/includes/shared.lib.php on line 0

When I am changing a snippet with the text editor, it works fine but the WYSIWYG it seems stuck on loading.
I already disabled the "Enable Editor Compression" but the problem insists.

Any suggestions please???

Hello,

The 'open basedir restriction" error indicates there is a problem with the file path for your web hosting account.  What I recommend is talking with your web hosting provider and ask them to tell you what is the "file path" for your account.  Then this is the value you should enter for each of your users, when specifying their "Starting Folder" in the Users profile area in the admin->Users tab.

I hope that makes sense.

Let me know how things go.  Smile
