Has anyone been able to install on Yahoo hosting? The last forum entry on this was a year ago and there was no answer. I have a client who has Yahoo hosting and would really like to use snippetmaster. Thanks.

The best thing to do is try an installation with the free LITE version. It costs nothing, and you'll quickly see if it works or not. You can also request a free install if desired:

In my experiience, installation on yahoo servers is "hit and miss". Some of their servers are really poorly configured, and the account doesn't even allow PHP to run. But then some other servers have Zend, ioncube, PHP, and all kinds of other nice things on them that make Snippetmaster run like clockwork.
Yahoo is basically the same as every other "big cheap host". You get what you pay for.
I hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had tried to install it last year but it wouldn't work. So, I assume it's one of those servers. I've tried to encourage my client to switch hosts, but they're very reluctant. I know of cheaper hosts that give better service. I guess Yahoo has a File Manager that allows some content editing, but I've never used it. I've given my client some options, so I'll wait and see what they want to do. Thanks again.
