FTP Connection Information

When  the auto Installation starts  at the first page, under "Enter Your FTP Connection Information"  this heading there are:

Username:
Password:
Hostname:

Are those values my FTP details? If yes, if I continue the instalattion then whoelse will be getting/knowing those values? Any third parties will be involving? Such as "http://www.snippetmaster.com". Will those details be passed to "http://www.snippetmaster.com"?

Could you please clearify it for me?

The information in not sent to anyone.  It is only used to create an FTP connection to your server, to install the software.  (basically, it tries to automatically do the installation for you.)

If you prefer not to use the auto-installer software, you can do an installation the old fashioned way by following the "manual installation" steps.

Yes, that is correct.  You will need to enter your FTP un/pw and hostname in order to use the autoinstaller.
