Thank you for your help and support in advance. I need to be sure that my client is able to use SnippetMaster before I upgrade to the Pro package. My issue is that on a MAC platform using Firefox browser there is no backgound colour behind the text (this should be white) The backgound page is showing though? Also some of the text is not centralized as it is viewing with IE browser on my PC.
Viewing in the Safari browser the whole page sits on the left instead of centre. Again there is no text background. This is loging on from a Power users perspective? I build all my websites with NetObjects Fusion and I realise you do not know too much about this wonderful software, as I have read most of the posts on this forum. I am sorry if I have missed any relavant answers to my issue.
kind regards Joan
I do not recommend using the Safari browser. It is a good browser, but it is very poor when it comes to using it with "web-based programs" such as Snippetmaster. Firefox is a better choice, and should work perfectly for you on the Mac.
You can adjust the background color of the editor by specifying a CSS style for the editor here:
Thank you for your quick response to my issue.
Do you have any explaination for the text and page not being centred?
By the way, when I check this page with admin privilages on the PCit is perfect
there is a white background in the text box and the page and all the text is centred.
I know this may seem a silly question, but as I use a WYSIWYG program and do not know html
code at all here it is anyway - if I upgraded to the Pro version and used the WYSIWYG would this
the solve my issues?
Many thanks for your help and support
Kind regards Joan
I'm not sure I understand. I wonder if perhaps the difference is that when you login to SNippetmaster with the "admin" user.. you are choosing to edit the WHOLE FILE. And then when you login using a regular or power user, you are choosing to edit only the SNIPPET.
Is that perhaps the issue?
Switching to the PRO version will not make any difference. Both versions are the same, except all features are enabled in the PRO version.
Yes I am choosing to edit the whole page when logged on to the "admin" user in SnippetMaster, but I have the 'snippets' set to edit the whole page for the 'Power' user also?
Perhaps there is a conflict between the WYSIWYG program NetObjects and SnippetMaster?
hank you so much for your help and assistance.
I do hope there is someway to work arround this, as my client and I really needs to be able to make some text edits
now and again.
Kind regards Joan
