[-] Main and Sub-domains
« on: March 18, 2007, 04:14:00 PM »

Hi

If I have a Snippet Master pro for a domain, e.g. mydomain.com.au and I have a sub-domain (a number of them) subdomain.mydomain.com.au will I need a seperate licence (for each) or can I use the same licence for the main domain account?

Cheers

If they are all for the same website (or divisions of the same website), then send me an email and I'll add them to your main license.

However, if they are for different websites, or different customers.. then they will need to have seperate licenses.

Hope that makes sense and is fair.

Thanks Henri - order just put through - I have added the Sub-domain details in the notes section as could not see where to put domain name the licence is for.

Cheers

Hey, thanks!

The licenses are "dynamic"... that basically means you can use any license for any (sub)domain.  The first time you use the license, it will become "locked" to that domain... and then you can't use it with a different domain unless you hit the "re-issue" button to clear the current license info.  (ie: To transfer it to a different website, etc.)

Let me know if you get stuck with anything...

Thanks again!  Smile
