[-] TimeStamp issue
« on: February 28, 2007, 06:00:49 AM »

Hello!

I have a timestamp issue that is driving me nuts!

Here is an example:
"Last saved on February 28, 2007 2:04 pm by admin"

It looks fine. Just one problem: It was actually updated at 7:04 am.
Now, my server is one time zone (My customer) and I am in another, halfway around the world abviously. No matter what I do, the date and time is displayed incorrectly. I have tried adjusting the "Default Offset From GMT" to reflect my time zone, but to no avail. Note: The date and time shows up corrected in the Admin>General page where it says: "Current time : February 28, 2007 8:48 am". However, when actually editing the page, it shows the server time, which is 7 hours ahead of me (My time: 8:48am :: Server time: 3:48pm).

Any way to adjust/fix this?

Thanks!!

Hmm.. it should be displaying the time based on whatever is the offset you have specified in the admin area.

The timestamp is saved with the Snippet when it is edited, and then the offset is applied when the Snippet is displayed.

I'm not sure what might be causing this, but let me know your ftp info and I can maybe login and take a look to see if I can get it figured out.

1) Send me an email to henri @ www.snippetmaster.com with.
2) FTP login info to your snippetmaster folder
3) A link to this thread, so I know what the email is about.

Thanks!
