Snippet master messing up Flash Embed

Snippetmaster v2.2.2 seems to be messing up the embedding of flash objects.
Flash displays fine in IE but not in Mozilla and Firefox. ANy one else having this problem? Or is this a bug

Does the page start off with vaild XHTML? The TinyMCE codesweeper tries to convert old HTML code to valid XHTML during a save, but does not always get it right. Is this when doing a full page edit, as I can see no reason to put SM tags around a Flash object? If so you may be able to specify the code/attributes which should re retained as being OK in the code validation rulesets - configured on the admin/general page.

I'll also be adding the ability to insert/edit flash objects later in June.    That will alllow snippetmaster to work a lot better with flash..

But in the meantime, Kelvyn is correct.. the editor will try to convert your code to valid XHTML, even if that means killing your old invalid code.  Obviously this isn't good in some situations where you may purposely be using invalid code...

I'm currently working on the ability to tell the editor to "leave things alone!!" so that this problem no longer appears.

I should have it ready with the next release, which will hopefully be witihin a week, although I'm now working from dial-up internet, since my adsl went down, and that is causing fairly lengthy delays for me... arg.

Sorry for the delayed reply ive been on holiday, the code we are using is valid xhtml so i am told. as follows:-
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="yfcMain.swf" width="720"  height="270" id="movie1"><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="LOOP" value="false" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="yfcMain.swf" /></object>

But when do you think the next release will be available so we can tell it to ingnore the flash parts,

This issue continues to be a problem in the 2.2.2 version of SnippetMaster Lite.  Are there any plans for resolving this issue?

Anyone?  Or is this documented somewhere in someplace so obvious that it's not worth responding?  Sorry if it is.
