Fatal error: Unable to read ... /admin.php on line 0

I just installed SnippetMaster for the first time and it seems to start up just fine.  I can select a file in the target directory without any problem.  I am stymied after that.

When I try to go to my admin page:

http://my.domain/dir/admin.php

I get this error message:

Fatal error: Unable to read 37053 bytes in /home/.hugo/userid/my.domain/dir/admin.php on line 0

I wanted to try to delete the ".hugo" to see if that would fix it, but cannot find it in any of the .php files.

Any suggestions?

This error usually means the file is corrupted.  Can you try re-uploading the admin.php file in BINARY mode and make sure it's ok?

I verified that I have Zend, I downloaded the zip file snippetmaster2.2.2-zend.zip, I extracted the admin.php file, I set WS-FTP Pro to binary mode (instead of automatic), and I still get the same error.

I am sorry to be such a clueless newbie about this.  I'm normally far more competent.  I'm an engineer with Cisco and can handle lots of problems with routers and switches, but this one has me baffled.

Could it be because I am working with an add-on domain and my hosting service is DreamHost?

I can't explain this, but I just closed and reopened WS-FTP-Pro and uploaded the admin.php file one more time - and it works!

Thanks for all your help!  I will have to leave a testimonial after I figure out how to use the program!
