Yes, this is no problem.. just set up the whole program however you want it (including any desired users and their passwords, etc... and then enable the demo mode.
In other words, don't enable demo mode until *after* you have it all set up how you want it for your demo.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for here.. Like I said, if you want to change the username and passwords, you must first disable demo mode (otherwise your changes will not be saved)... then make the desired changes... then re-enable demo mode.
You can find info to disable demo mode here:

Let me know if you get stuck.

ahh no im sorry what i meant was is there a way to make it so they dont have to type in a username or password? like for the demo made can we set the default username and password so it shows in the login box so they can just click sign in or maybe make it bypass the username and password all together?

Oh! I see what you mean now...
Hmm... ok in this case.. I don't think this is possible without me changing a few things in the login template. It's a good idea though, and I might add this ability in a future version of the program.
The problem right now, though, is that the system has four different "types" of users... so if they auto-login as an "admin" user, then they might not see the limitations in place for a "regular" user.
What I will do eventually, is add the ability for you to specify an "auto-login" as part of the demo process. This way, you can specify a un/pw in the "enable demo mode" option area, and the program will login using that un/pw automatically.
Does that sound ok?
Let me know.

Hi,
We've sorted this now - If you view index.php through your web browser, you can see the whole page unencrypted - we just copied this to another file (index2.php), added value="demo" to the form texts fields and hey presto!
Hope this helps anyone else needing to do what we did.

Yes, this will certainly work! (Good thinking.. I never even thought to do this.)
The only "problem" might be if you make any changes to language settings or some admin features.. in this case, the program won't be able to make the change work properly because your login page is "hard-coded" for a previous setting.
But your idea should work ok. Once you get SnippetMaster working how you want it, then you can just "view source" and use that as a template for your own login page.
