[-] "Cancel" Button
« on: February 22, 2012, 04:09:18 PM »

Besides clicking to a different page, or clicking the Undo Button, how do you CANCEL any edits that I have made to a page.
SAVE BUTTON ----- PREVIEW BUTTON ------- CANCEL BUTTON (what about adding a Cancel Button here?)
So, if I make some bad edits is there a CANCEL Button somewhere?
Thanks,
Artie

Hi Artie,

What would the CANCEL button actually do when clicked?

Thanks!

Option 1: The easiest option would be to "mimick" what clicking the "Home" button does. Obviously you can just click the "Home" button, but I think from a user stand point having a button that says "Cancel" gives a little piece of mind.

Option 2: The next option, although I am sure would be more difficult, would be to bring the user back to the same "Folder Level" they were at when they clicked on the file to edit.

Ok, thanks.   I will add this to the list of new features for Snippetmaster.

I think option 2 makes the most sense.  Smile
