All of the upload folders are set at 777. However, when I upload images they are saved to the folders with permissions of 664 and does not allow the images to be displayed on any of the pges within the web site. I am using Snippetmaster Pro on a unix server.

Ahh.. I've seen this problem before, and I think it is something you'll have to chat with your web host provider about.
Some web hosts treat all files that are uploaded by the "nobody" user (the user that is actually running the snippetmaster software on the server) as potentially harmful files, and so they automatically give them not enough permissions to be viewable by the operator of the software that uploaded the file.
Phew! That was a long sentence.
For example, someone could upload a "virus" file and then immediately go to their browser and execute (view) the file... and some hosts feel this is bad, so they automatically set the permissions of the file so it can never happen.
I think this is a setting they'll have to change for you.
