First i kept getting error messages in ie when i tried to edit the website. then ie stop loading javascript, it's the same problem that other people posted.  all you see is a little red x.  It loads on my friend's computer, in his plugin it reads dhtml editor plugin, while in mine it doesn't.

Is it possible you can send me your config.inc.php file and I'll take a look?

Do you get the red cross when you try the online demo here on the snippetmaster website?

Thanks!

OK, so I'm pretty confident then that the problem is with your browser.

 Mad

Hmmm... I'm not sure what to suggest.  Can you maybe try to disable any firewalls or proxy software or virus scanners and things like that?

Let me know...

Then I'm not sure what to suggest, except to maybe try re-installing Internet Explorer.

There must be some reason why it isn't working for you...  it works fine for all my test machines.  And I know that the snippetmaster demo here on the website is correctly configured, so that removes the server configuration as being a possible problem.

I wish I could help!

The only other thing I can suggest, is to sign up for the announcement mailing list so that you know when the new version of SnippetMaster is finally finished.  It uses a totally different wysiwyg editor that is much better compatibility with all browsers (firefox/opera, etc.) as well as no reported problems with IE.

Wish I could help more!   Sad

9 times out of 10 the problem is an incorrect path in the config.inc.php file.

Can you please send me an email with:

1)  A link to this thread so I know the history of your problem.

2) A copy (attachement) of your config.inc.php file.

I will then try to find the proper/correct path for your installation and help you resolve the problem.

Thanks.  (henri @ www.snippetmaster.com)
