logging in from root index page

Hi!

This is really a great piece of product. I wonder if it is possible to create a login 'box' from the root index page to log in to snippet master admin page?

I'm not sure what you mean.  Do you want to put a login box on a "non snippetmaster" page?  If so, then I'm not sure that would be an easy thing to do.. because the login box is created by the index.php page.. which has a bunch of "calls" to the various snippetmaster support files (in the /includes folder, etc..)
