[-] Language exploit, issue and considerations..
« on: October 12, 2011, 07:53:03 AM »

Good Evening,

I just installed the latest version of SnippetMaster LITE, and i have seen that is possible to change the language even if you use LITE version, just by selecting the one you want during installation. This happens on my server, but not locally (reverts to english anyway). Honestly i really don't know how this is possible, so i cannot help.

One thing i saw is that the Italian translation has bugs in the TinyMCE interface (css style, font, size dropdowns and bold, italic, underline buttons are broken) am i the only one?

Anyway, i was thinking about the fact that language change is a feature reserved to the PRO version.. If the translations were made by users it's not fair to make people pay for them, it should be available to anyone.

You can choose one language (which will be used for all users) with the free LITE version when you do the installation.  (You should be able to choose any language.)

The PRO version allows you to choose a different language for each user. (ie: PRO version is multi-language capable.)

Thanks!
