I am using the free rebrandable license for my web design site and I have created a power user for potential clients to log in and test . Everything works fine when I access the snippets from the admin area, the wysiwyg editor works fine, however, when I log in as a " power user " I can access the snippets , however the wysiwyg editor will not open. I get a loading bar/message and it never loads....
I have made sure that the edit groups are set for the right user etc...and I have tried both basic and editor group 1 settings. I also chose "no" for making changes to the editor. I have also created multiple user levels and tested them the same way, and none of them work in regards to the wysiwyg editor loading except for when I'm inside the admin area.
any help would be greatly appreciated,
and thanks for allowing me to use the free rebrandable license for my site

Hmm.. this is a strange problem.
Is it possible to send me exact instructions to recreate the problem (including login un/pw and steps to recreate, etc..)? Then I can take a detailed look and see what might be causing it..
Just send to above and I'l lhave a look. (Also please send your admin login un/pw just in case any settings need to be modified..)
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response......
I don't know if I will be able to remember all the steps taken to reproduce the issue, but I can send you the link with my un/pw . maybe I did do something wrong with setting up the users and can't see the obvious.
I'll go ahead and send you the info via my private email.
Thanks again

Did you get a resolution of this? I have exactly the same issue with a fresh install of the LITE version with the admin user, just get the loading WYSIWYG editor message. Is it a permissions thing?

Oh ok, I found the answer was to disable editor compression in the admin screen as suggested in an earlier post. That fixed the problem.

I have just installed SMPro, added the basic SM edit tag to a Lorem Ipsum paragraph, and am attempting to edit (for a client meeting tomorrow, D'ohh!). My WYSIWYG loading bar is humming merrily along for over 5 minutes (i'm on 12 Mb/s Comcast, logged in as SMPro admin)*.
Fast-Forward-->
Following the advice in previous posts I have disabled editor compression and {goto*}.
Still humming along... (I was able to enter this post in and still loading... I will search the forums while this entry cooks for a bit.)
Tried in FF v3.6.10 and Chrome 6.0.472.63, with the Example-single-snippet as well. Webhost is GoDaddy/Linux/IonCube/PHP5.
*[Steps: Log In (as admin). --> Choose the folder (c-u-tech.com/ff){Open}, choose the file (index.html){Open}]
+Tried just editing the text and saving, but got booted into the login screen.
+Moved files into the snippetmaster folder, same-same.
+Tried as SuperUser, no beans, still will boot to login if just manually editing and saving.
I just turned WYSIWYG for the snippet to off. It is manually editable now.
