Topic: How to adjust line spacing ? (Read 300 times) |

I have a simple website which was set up before I had heard of SnippetMaster. I knew there must be a simpler way to change content than editing the HTML (which I hardly understand anyway) and I finally found SnippetMaster and installed it. Sighs of relief.
At the bottom of the page http://www.clareroots.org/events.html I added two lines of text but for some reason they have come out double-spaced, unlike the previous lines above them which are single-spaced. Is there any way to make these added lines single-spaced ? I searched the little icons but couldn't find one which sets the line spacing.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You have entered each of those bottom lines as a new paragraph. To avoid this happening and just add a single linefeed use CTRL+enter rather than just enter. This is a common key combnation for many Word[rocessors and text editors.

Ah, just like a 1960s word processor. Got it !
Thanks very much for your help.
P.S. Uh-oh, just tried it out and it doesn't work. Ctrl-Enter has exactly the same effect as Enter.
P.P.S. Finally got it: the correct key combination for single line return without a space between the lines is Shift-Enter and not Ctrl-Enter

Ah that's right. Sorry. I don't look at the keyboard when I type - menas I make a lot of typos but makes entering text a lot quicker.
