The Whole File list which opens for editing includes files which are SnippetMaster files e.g. admin.php/db.inc.php/index.php and upload.php.  Is there a way to get rid of these files in this list?

Hello,

First... keep in mind that only Admin and Super users can see the "whole file" list.  Power users and Regular users will only be able to see SNIPPETS (editable regions) that you have specified.

You can hide folders from the navigation dropdown by using the "List Groups" functionality in the admin area... this way, your users will only be able to see files from within the folders you have allowed them.

I hope that makes sense?

Here's documentation about user types to help explain:

Thanks for the help Henri!:D  I did what you suggested and yes Power and Regular users only see the snippets.  Would like to know if there is a way to exclude files like those I mentioned from the Admin and Super?

At the moment there is no way to exclude individual files.. it is only possible to exclude (or specifically include) folders.
