Yesterday, about 5:30 PM PDT, one of my clients contacted me because he was unable to access the SnippetMaster Pro page on his site. He received the following message:
Your Local "Offline" License Key Is Invalid
The program has been halted because it is not possible to validate your license.
The program uses a Local "Offline" License Key to validate your license when the main licensing servers are unreachable. (ie: When you do not have an internet connection.)
You are receiving this error because of the following reasons:
1. The program was unable to contact the licensing servers to validate your license.
2. Your Local "Offline" License Key is invalid.
If this problem continues, please contact support for assistance.
I tried to access the page and received the same error message. Both the client and I had Internet connectivity and we were able to access the client's domain. The licensing servers may have been down because I was unable to access the SnippetMaster site; however, I wasn't aware of a local "offline" license key. Why would the local offline license key be invalid?
SnippetMaster Pro was working fine for six or eight weeks prior to yesterday evening, and it seems to be OK today. Whatever caused the problem, I hope that the message "Your Local "Offline" License Key is invalid" can be changed as it is not conducive to good relations with my customers.

Hello,
I am working on a way for rebrandable licenses to have a custom message instead of that default one.
I use multiple license servers located in different datacenters, so I don't think that was the problem.
Most likely their hosting provider maybe was changing something on the server and it caused the lookup to fail, or perhaps the hostname became changed briefly..
That's the only thing I can think of to cause a temporary problem like that.
