[-] Unix line endings
« on: January 08, 2008, 05:49:56 AM »

I'm trying to use SnippetMaster to edit a .txt file within which the line endings MUST be Unix (LF), not PC (CR/LF).

SnippetMaster seems to change the line endings whenever the file is edited--file grows in size and the Perl code processing it complains about illegal characters.

Is there some way to change this behavior?

Also, even though the User is in an edit group not allowing WYSIWYG, that option is still presented to this User--potentially undesired results of having html headers/footers added to the text file. (No, I can't place SnippetMaster tags in  the file, either).

TIA for any help.
