Problems Upgrading from LITE to PRO

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my version from LITE to PRO and seem to be having problems.  I paste the License Key into the admin area, and it returns...

The license key you entered is either not valid or a connection to the licensing server was not possible.

I've triple-checked that this is the same key that is in my Client Section of the Website.  Do I have something setup wrong in my configuration?  Thanks,

Can you make sure your web server is allowed to connect to the licensing server to authenticate your license?   (Ask your web host if "outgoing socket connection over port 80" is allowed.

Let me know.

It it still doesn't work, send me an email with a link to this thread and your ftp un/pw and I'll take a look.  But the problem is likely that your web host is blocking the attempt to validate your license key...

Hi,

I Finally got back with my web provider, and they say that they unblocked port 80 to www.snippetmaster.com.  Is the license server a different IP, or is something else wrong?  Thanks

The license server is on www.key-vault.com

This is a server that is part of a cluster of servers, so if one goes down another takes over, etc.. (this way, there will never be a problem with license validation in case one of my servers goes down.)

Your web host needs to unblock port 80 for www.key-vault.com

I've contacted my webserver and they have assured me that they've allowed port 80 to www.key-vault.com, but it's still not working .  It's very possible that they have just not opened the port, or perhaps something is wrong with my install?  I will pm you the user/pass to the ftp and perhaps you could take a look?  Thanks.
