Hi,
I'm attempting to install Snippetmaster Lite. I went throught the automated intallation and got a report that Zend has to be upgraded to the latest version. I contacted my ISP and they kindly upgraded it, but I still get the same error message.
I uploaded the Zend version directly and just get a blank screen. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,
Can you try running the test file that is located here:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/snippetmaster/includes/diag/
This should allow you to test the Zend (or ioncube) isntall with a test file to see if it's working properly..
Let me know.

Yes, It was a problem on my ISP's end. They've got it updated now and snippetmaster is installed and working great.
Thanks!

I get this error and still it doesn't install. The server has the latest version of PLESK 8.01 --- would it be a similar fix?
_________________________________________________> (message off server)
Verifying selected program folder...
Testing if we should use the Ioncube or Zend encoded version...
The Ioncube loaders (v3.0) are installed, but they are too old and need to be upgraded to the latest version.
Zend Optimizer is not installed.
Your web server needs the Zend or Ioncube encoding system to work properly, otherwise SnippetMaster will not work. Most web hosts will have no problem to fix this for you. You need to copy and paste this page and give it to your web host, or give them this link:
http://www.rdhc.org/snippets/autoinstaller.php?loadertest
Here are the ways you can get Zend or Ioncube working for your server:
Ask your web host to install the Zend Optimizer software on your server. Most web hosts will have no problem doing this, and it should take them only a few minutes. (The Zend Optimizer is made by the same people who made PHP!) You should not experience any 'downtime' as a result of the software being installed.
Ask your web host to upgrade the Ioncube loader files on your server to the latest version. (The files that are currently installed are too old and will not work.) Most web hosts will have no problem doing this, and it should take them only a few minutes.
A problem was found. I will now clean up anything done so far...
The Auto-Installer did not work.
(Please review the error(s) above. Maybe it's a problem you can fix?)

Please advise

With Plesk I understand it is quite easy to update Ioncube (one of my hosts using Plesk did it within 30 minutes of making the request), so I'd ask them if they can sort it for you.
