Form values disappear when editing through SnippetMaster

Whenever I edit and save an HTML file that contains code for forms, the value parameter disappears.  For example; <input type="button" value="Close this window" onclick="self.close()" />.  When I save the file and logout from SnippetMaster, the code looks like this <input type="button" onclick="self.close()" />.  I have also noticed it did this for the PayPal code I used where all of the value parameters disappeared but did not suspect SnippetMaster at the time.  Is this a known issue or have I done something incorrectly?  Thank you...
