[-] Need some help!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: May 28, 2010, 10:27:02 AM »

I could really use some help with this program Henri.
I bought a Pro license about 3 years ago or more and I have finally
completed my site and sales page for the service I'm about to offer.
We have talked on the phone before but it has been a while. I realized that with
the amount of users I'm likely to have, I had to move the site to a differant server. I had to
re-install the program but in the admin section I see all kinds of new things. been a while since
I re-visited your program but I need to get things configured and setup prior to launch.
If any body else can help me with this I would be extremely grateful. Henri I also need rebranding rights.
Not sure if I still have them or not. I was running a demo before I swithed serversThe site I am running
your program at is http://www.carpenters-resumes.com Perhaps u may remember me.

Hello,

Can you let me know what version you are running?  The latest version is 2.2.3.3, and is here:

http://www.snippetmaster.com/download/

Let me know what specific questions you have and what you need a hand with and I'm happy to help as much as possible.

Ok Henri that is fine! A few questions:

1. With my pro license, can I run a demo on my site?

2. Can I use the script and have a programmer combine
it with a payment gateway such as PayPal to offer a resume
service that my users can access 24-7?

3. Can I rebrand the software and call it something else?

The site I plan on doing all this is located at
http://www.carpenters-resumes.com

Please take a look when you get a chance and tell me what you think.

Thanks Henri for such a great script!

Regards,

Hello,

1. You can request a free demo license for any "sales" type website here:

http://www.snippetmaster.com/free-demo-license.php

2. I'm not sure if this would be possible or not, as it depends on the skill of your programmer and exactly what you want to do.  (ie: You could hire a programmer to create your order system, create a customer account, auto-add the customer to snippetmaster user system, and then add the snippets to their pages...  but this would be a lot of work.)

3. Yes, you can rebrand the software as long as you have the "rebrandable" PRO version.  More info is at the top of the purchase page on the website.  Smile

Cheers!

Henri, Is it possible with snippet master to configure a user access to one page only on the site the script is running?

Yes, you can easily do this using several different methods.

1. If you create a "SNIPPET TAG" to mark the specific section of page/text editable, then you can use the "Users" attribute of the tag to allow only specified users to have access. More info here:

http://www.snippetmaster.com/documentation/snippet-tag-attributes.html

2. You could create a "Folder Group" that allows only access to the folder where the page is located, and then assign the group to only the desired user.
