Hi Henri,
Ok, tried to auto-install. No go for ioncube. Tried and passed with zend test. Uploaded manually per instructions in binary for zend. Changed directory and file permissions to 777. Changed file name. Went to browser for step 2 install wizard. Nothing loads, Blank page. On godaddy, I know I've read the forums, using lunix php5. Would rather not step down to php4. Saw on forums php4 is a possible solution.
Thanks for a response in advance.
Davies
And thanks for the responses to my pre-sales questions.

Hello,
The only thing I can think is to check your website server error log file for any error or message to indicate the problem.
I have many customers using godaddy with both PHP 4 and PHP 5, but it really depends on their server setup and how lucky you get, since they are not consistant at all...
Other then that, you can request a free installation here and I can try my best to get it working for you:

Just now I tried this:
First zend.php test : Hello world!
If you can read this text -- it works!
Second typing in my url followed with SM : Zend Optimizer not installed
This file was encoded by the Zend Guard. In order to run it, please install the Zend Optimizer (available without charge), version 3.0.0 or later.
Henri. So, one works and the other doesn't. Any thoughts????
Thanks, Davies

Haven't heard back yet from you, so I am doing a re-upload of all files, and step through instructions.
Will be here all day. Will get back to you with results.

Hi,
Re-loaded all files. Re-set permissions. Same thing happened as this morning. Zend.php works. Install 2 produces "Zend optimizer not installed".
I'm using php 5.x
This is my php.ini file:
register_globals = off
allow_url_fopen = off
expose_php = Off
max_input_time = 60
variables_order = "EGPCS"
extension_dir = ./
upload_tmp_dir = /tmp
precision = 12
SMTP = relay-hosting.secureserver.net
url_rewriter.tags = "a=href,area=href,frame=src,input=src,form=,fieldset="
[Zend]
zend_extension=/usr/local/zo/ZendExtensionManager.so
zend_extension=/usr/local/zo/4_3/ZendOptimizer.so
I tried changing the 4_3 to 5_x, but did not produce any different results. How should my php.ini look??
Thanks, Davies

Hi Henri,
I filled out the free install form.
Would like to know what you do to get it running.
Thanks

Hello,
It turns out that my provider has changed my host name. You may have tried to do the free install for me as you suggested, but were probably unable to login. I will email you tomorrow on the free install.
Thanks
Davies

Henri,
Haven't heard back from you yet, so I believe I will change servers.
I know this will solve everything.
Talk back soon.
