Not at this time.  The ability to "save as" is a feature I am working on implementing.

(It's very difficult, do to the permissions issue... ie: Who should be allowed to save new files, where, etc..)

Let me know if you have any thoughts on how you'd like the user permissions to work for this feature.

I have tried the light version of SnippetMaster and it looks brilliant. I would love to use it for my clients, only that it lacks the feature of a simple (but I am sure complicated) "save as".

My suggestion would be to give the super users the ability to save a page as a new one. Wouldn't it be possible to do something similar to what you have done with the uploading of files? Give the user a drop down menu with options of where to save the page in cuestion? Well, that is at least what would suit me.

So, right now I won't buy your product but if you make this happen I would definitely consider it, especially to the actual price which I think seems so much worth it. Anyone who knows a similar product that includes this feature?

Thanks,
Maria

Hi Maria,

Thanks very much!

I am planning to add the "Save as" feature very soon, and it will work very much like you described.  The problem is with permissions, and things like that, but I agree that giving the user a list of allowed "save as" folders is a great solution.

Cheers!

Thanks for the quick answer! Well, I will keep my eyes open and I would very much appreciate if you could notify me in some way (for example responding to this post) when you have launched it. I would probably be very interested in buying your product.

The best way to stay informed about new features and updates is to subscribe to the announcements mailing list.  (Don't worry, I won't sell your info to anyone..)
