Topic: db.ini.php not found & PHP Session Passing (Read 215 times) |

I'm unable to install the program as it keeps telling me that db.ini.php isn't found. I can see from other posts on the forum that it's usually a php session passing issue.
I asked my host to fix it, and they said they need more information. Apparently there are multiple ways to pass session ids, and some of them have some security risks involved.
Does anyone know how the session ids need to be passed to get snippetmaster to work/install correctly?
Thanks

Can you let me know what is your FTP info and I can give you a bunch of diagnostic utilities to run? This will run three different sessions tests, to determine what is the problem.
You can send me the info here:
(I only need access to your snippetmaster folder -- not your entire website.)
Cheers!

OK.. I ran a few tests and did not find any problems with the PHP Sessions on your server.
So I took a look at the installation, and found that you just had to rename the db.inc.php file. (You forgot to do step #7, from the manual installation instructions.)

You should now be able to finish the installation wizard without any problems.
Cheers!
