Installation Issue - Database

I am frustrated with installation--have literally spent several hours trying to get this installed. I'm on a Linux server with Zend support.

I tried the autoinstallation 3 times and it would not work. So I've now done the manual install, and made it as far as the admin screen and then keep getting this error. I tried reinstalling again; with the same error:

"The program is not able to continue because you are missing at least one required value in your database.This problem is usually because:

The Installation Wizard did not finish.
Part of your database is corrupted or deleted.
You must fix this problem and then start the Installation Wizard again."

In opening the dbinc.php file here are the contents:

Can anyone please help!!?!

Sure, no problem.  If you want to send me an email with a link to this thread (so I know what is the problem) and your ftp un/pw I will login and try to install it for you.

Problem Solved!

I deleted the contents of the db file and reuploaded to restart the wizard. It appears that it was a file permissions problem--once I changed the cmod to 777--it says that the Wizard was successfully completed!!
