Not connecting to SnippetMaster server

Well, first the auto-installer wouldn't work because it said

"I was unable to connect to the SnippetMaster server.
A problem was found. I will now clean up anything done so far..."

So I installed it manually without any problem.

Next, I tried to save my non-profit license key, and it says

The license key you entered is either not valid or a connection to the licensing server was not possible.

So it seems like I'm unable to connect with the SnippetMaster server. Is it down today? Or could it be that my host won't allow outgoing connections or some weird thing like that? I really would like to be able to install the pro version with my key. Thanks.

Looks like you may have a similar problem to that described here (with the fix):

If your web host won't open a connection on port 80 to www.key-vault.com (the license server), then send me an email and I can work with you to get it working "offline".  The key system is currently not working correctly, but I have a special file that will allow you to temporarily use the software until I get it fixed.
