upload dialog box appears briefly, then disappears

I have SM Pro.  When I click on the file upload button, the upload dialog box appears briefly - for second or less, and then flashes off again.

I tested a file upload with diag/uploadtest.php and it worked fine.  I am also able to modify and save the file in that directory, so permissions are correct.

I don't think there is anything odd about the MSIE settings.  It runs other Javascript without a problem. 

I don't use MSIE unless I have to these days.  When will SM support Firefox?

Do you have any popup blocking software installed?  that might be the problem, since the upload window is considered to be a "popup" when the button is pushed.

Firefox will be supported in the next version.  Hopefully soon, but development is taking MUCH longer then I had ever anticipated... arg.
