Error on every page, but everything works

I believe I have everything installed properly. I can edit a test page, save it and edit it again. However, when I'm in the admin section, there is a persistent red error message across the top of the screen.

Any thoughts? I checked the paths in the General section of the admin panel, but it all looks right.
