The PRO Version - Is It Necessary to Try/Download/Use the LITE Version?

When purchasing and subsequently using the PRO version, is it necessary to first use or download or in any way interact with the LITE version?  The SnippetMaster purchase page states that the LITE version is necessary because the PRO version "uses the same software."

Yes, install the Lite version to make sure that

a. it is installable on your server
b. does what you want it to.

The Pro licence activates additional features which are already present in the Lite version.

There is no separate Pro version. As I said above, The Pro licence activates additional features which are already present in the Lite version.

Thank you for clarifying that a person cannot:
buy SnippetMaster PRO without having to
also download and install another program - SnippetMaster LITE.

Thus, every install of SnippetMaster PRO actually requires
two [2] program installs - SnippetMaster LITE and SnippetMaster PRO -
even when only SnippetMaster PRO is desired.

NO. Read what I said. It is one install followed by entering the licence number to activate the extras when you pay for the Pro version.

The result of purchasing the SnippetMaster PRO version is nothing more than getting a number or character string that is then manually entered, or copy and pasted, into an input box associated with a SnippetMaster LITE installation - is this correct?
