Hi,

Just setting up my first "Pro" (Non-Profit, actually) installation for a client, and am having curious behaviour from the "WIDTH" attribute. I set the width to "600", as that is the width of the pure content area, and I wanted to have the edit window look the same as the web page.

When the snippet windows come up, they seem a bit narrower or wider than what I have specified, resulting in horizontal scroll bars in some cases.

Also, as soon as I do anything in the edit window, it springs out to around 800 pixels wide.

The second item is the one that troubles me the most. It's not a really big deal, but seems a bit odd.

Any clues as to what may be going on?

Thanks,
 Cool Ray

Is there any chance I could reproduce this myself to test?  (Send me the details to henri@snippetmaster.com)

Thanks.

OK.

I've set up a login for you and emailed the info.

This site is still a work-in-progress, which is why it is in a "beta" subfolder.

Interestingly, I manually inserted snippet tags into the index.html page of the current site, and this resizing doesn't seem to happen. Perhaps the specific insertion point of the tags has a bearing on this?

Hi, Henri

Just wondering if you've had a chance to check this out.
(I did realize that I'd created an account for you that had no permissions - sorry. It's fixed now.)

I did change the default edit window size in the Editor Groups settings, but it still springs open as soon as I click anything in the edit window. The site is live now, and I would really prefer to have the edit window remain at roughly the same size as it would display on the page.

Is there anything else I can do to help? Would you like an HTML file?

Thanks.

Hi,

I hate to be a whiner, and maybe you're on vacation or, you know, out working for a living  Smile, but I'm curious if you've had a look at this.

It's not a show-stopper, but I'd be grateful for any sort of comment, just so I know. I understand if it's a low priority, but the not knowing drives me crazy  Shocked

Thanks
