[-] Advice for newbies
« on: April 16, 2011, 05:09:30 AM »

I have set up SnippetMaster on my website (houstonmedia.tv) and I understand how to insert a snippet on a webpage. But I can't find any advice on how to edit the snippet within my browswer.
So I've created a webpage which looks something like the following:
Heading etc

Latest news

Rest of web-page.
So far, so good. The snippet appears on the page when accessed via the browser.
What I can't find is how to edit it and insert new text etc.
When I have found out how to do that, the next thing I want to do is to upgrade to SMpro by selling the product on my web. I can't find any way of doing that, thouygh I have registered as a seller. Presumably, there's some code I need to put on the page, eg "This page uses snippets from SnippetMaster. Go to LINK to purchase a licence." But I can't see any instructions on this.
What we really need, I feel, is a tutorial for newbies, first do this, then this, etc.
All help appreciated.

Just log into Snippetmaster, navigate into the folder where your webpage is located, and then select the file from the drop down box. (Be sure to select to edit the SNIPPET and not the WHOLE FILE.)

You can find complete documentation here:

If you get stuck with anything please let me know.

Thanks!
