My Snippetmaster Pro has worked fine till now but today I added some text to a page and when I tried to save it I got the following incomprehensible error message: "Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /snippetmaster/index.php could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.17 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.17 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.16 Server at www.clareroots.org Port 80" The server appears to be working fine and the website can be browsed without any problems. If I simply replace one word in the snippet and Save everything works fine. So the problem cannot be on the server and must presumably be something to do with the SnippetMaster side. What should I do now ?

This sounds like an error message from the web server or security software running on the web server. (ie: Something is triggering the security software on the web server.) I recommend contacting your hosting provider and ask them if they are blocking the page somehow... Let me know.

The cause probably lies within SnippetMaster. I've discovered that the error message is triggered if the snippet is a large one. The page loads normally up to a snippet size of around 50,000 characters. If I add a significant text to that snippet that error message occurs. However, if I create a simple HTML file with 60,000 characters it can be browsed normally from the server. Put 55,000 of those characters in a snippet and the error message occurs.
Summary: SnippetMaster seems to be having difficulty with large snippets.

You're probably referring to this server related problem here. SnippetMaster has no problem editing very large files. However, if your web server or PHP setup is not configured correctly, then this will cause SnippetMaster to have some limits. The link above will show you how to fix that.
