Permission Problems

I am having a similar problem outlined elsewhere but can't seem to solve it.  I have chmod'd the root permissions and my Root is correct in the config file yet I still get the following.


SnippetMaster v1.0 ERROR
Unable to change directories to "/something/something/htdocs/seftonilm/index.html" (permissions denied), check your permissions and your ROOT setting in "includes/config.inc.php"
FUNC: directoryDropDown().

I am no linux expert so I am struggling here

I think I figured it out - I removed the filename after the directory in the config file.  

I had an typo - sorry all.  

Off to play with SM now!
