« on: August 05, 2010, 03:51:58 PM »

I installed the script with no problems. When I log in and open a file, there is nothing there but the back ground color. When I view the code all I see is

<?
$title = "Upper Fire Scanner";
include "header.php";
?>
</body>
<body bgcolor="#000000" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
</body>
</html>

There is tons more code that is supposed to be there. This happens to all files I open.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hello,

It looks like the code is being stripped out for some reason when the editor opens the file.

Can you try the "Snippet Tag" method and see if that works for you?  (ie: Create an editable region and then edit only that portion of the code.)

Documentation is here:

http://www.snippetmaster.com/documentation/snippet-tags-basic-config.html

Let me know.

thanks for the reply.

 I added the code to the site and it still only displayed the background color and none of the content.

Do you have any other ideas?

include "header.php";
?>
</body>
<!-- #BeginSnippet name="Name the snippet here" -->
<body bgcolor="#000000" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
<!-- #BeginSnippet name="Name the snippet here" -->
</body>
</html>

I'm going to be travelling for the rest of today, but I'll try to get to this asap.

Can you send me an email (henri@snippetmaster.com) with your login details, and exact steps to recreate the problem?  (FTP and snippetmaster admin info.)

Thanks!

I'm not sure until I have a chance to look at it in detail.  Smile
