Topic: autoinstaller.php opens up as an HTML page in the browser (Read 299 times)

I have downloaded the autoinstallet.php and the uploaded it to my website in a folder as per instructions. When I run the autoinstaller the page of instructions appears on the browser in HTML, not as a wen page. I can see from the HTML that an error is mentioned. Can someone suggest what might be going wrong?

Sounds like you don't have PHP installed on the server.

Thanks for advice. Have discovered that VirginMedia freespace only provides the webspace and does not provide php on the server so will have to look for another provider if I want to use snippetmaster.
