Can't insert images -- weird!

Here's what I do and nothing happens:

1. I click on the Insert image button
2. It brings up the image box
3. I click on the insert button next to the first line
4. The contents of my images folder pops up
5. I click on an image name; it appears on the insert line at the bottom
6. I click OK.
7. I'm returned to my original content but there's no image.

Don't understand it. Do you?

I have the same problem - and it is specially strange becauce I know for a fact that it worked before.

Here is what I found out:

• It is obviously a browser problem.
• I use Firefox and with the version FF 3.6.9 I realized the problem.
• The img-tag gets inserted, the width, height and style attributes too, but not the src with the path to the image.
• When I insert this information by hand over the html window the image will be shown correctly.
• On the other hand to replace an image is no problem...

If I use Internet Explorer everything works fine like usual.

It works now, FF version 3.6.12 done the magic trick

hmmm, yes, that seems to have done the trick. i didn't realize there was a new version of FF available. my version seemed to have gotten stuck on it's ability to download/install updates from within. so i trashed it & downloaded a fresh copy and viola.
