Old version autoinstaller ??

I try to install the SnippetMaster Lite on a MS server but it refuses with the followijng message;

You are using an old version of the SnippetMaster Auto-Installer. (v)
Please visit the SnippetMaster website and download the latest version.
A problem was found. I will now clean up anything done so far...

The Auto-Installer did not work.

Hmmm.. I just added the Zend version back in, so maybe I made a mistake somewhere... hang on a minute..

With the correct  version now, autoinstaller works so far that I now get a table with possibility to contrinue.

This Auto-Installer will download and install/upgrade the latest version of SnippetMaster for you.

OK or better not OK  , because I run into the same problem as many before. I will try it later today after consulting my ISP.

ERROR is:
Verifying selected program folder...
Testing if we should use the Ioncube or Zend encoded version...
      Ioncube loaders are not installed.
      Zend Optimizer is not installed.
      The Ioncube 'runtime' loaders that are included with SnippetMaster should work, so we will use the Ioncube version of SnippetMaster.
Setting up the FTP connection...
Creating temporary work folder...
Downloading the latest SnippetMaster file: snippetmaster2.2.3-ioncube.zip ...(please wait)
Unable to create the snippetmaster2.2.3-ioncube.zip file on your server.
A problem was found. I will now clean up anything done so far...

OK, this looks like a problem with your server configuration, rather then a problem with the autoinstaller.

(The autoinstaller is trying to download the .zip file from the snippetmaster server, but is not able to save the file on your website...)

Can you request a free installation here, and I'll take a look?

OK. Where can I find and download that requested file? Are there more files that I need?
The ISP will probably not allow autmatic install from an unknow server. So I will do it manually.

I assume I have to upload the zip-file to the directory /snippetmaster/ I have made and unzip in from there.
Is that correct?

The .ZIP file is now uploaded in the directory /snippetmaster/temp-for-installer-please-delete-me/
The problem was that the write persion was disabled.

But the autoinstaller doesn't work  I now get a 500 error :

500 - Interne serverfout.

That temporary folder is created dynamically when the autoinstaller runs.  Even if you give it write permissions now, it won't work, because you can't start the autoinstaller half-way through what it needs to do.

I think a manual installation is the only way this will work on your server.  Use the following link, and I'll take care of it for you:
